Dr. James Rockwell brings over three decades of dental expertise to The Smile Center of NJ, serving across its six South Jersey locations. Graduating in 1990 from the University of Medicine and Dentistry of NJ, he is a highly respected figure. He has been repeatedly recognized as 'Best Dentist in Burlington County' and as one of the 'Leading Physicians of the World.' 

Specializing in implants and bridge work, Dr. Rockwell also offers comprehensive dental services, including Clear Correct, Same Day Crowns, and cosmetic dentistry. He is committed to treating patients with a family-like approach and actively engages in innovative business development techniques. 

Dr. Rockwell's passions extend beyond dentistry; he enjoys traveling, attending football games, golfing, and competing in the National Pool League. His dedication to community welfare is evident through his substantial contributions to Give Kids A Smile Day and the establishment of the Dewey Rockwell Memorial Foundation, honoring his late mother by supporting local students and families in need.

Dr. Basim was born and raised in Freehold, New Jersey. He attended the New Jersey Institute of Technology and obtained a Bachelor's in Biomedical Engineering. He later earned his Masters in Biomedical Sciences from UMDNJ, now Rutgers. While obtaining his master's, he worked as a Construction & Maintenance Supervisor at Six Flags Great Adventure, overseeing the construction and rehab of the rides.

Earning his Doctor of Dental Medicine degree from the University of Maine, Dr. Basim excelled clinically and held leadership roles, including VP of the American Association of Dental Research. His externship in Vermont's Champlain Valley highlighted his commitment to accessible, quality dental care.

Now serving Central and South Jersey, Dr. Basim offers a range of dental services, including Invisalign. He strives to provide a comfortable, relaxed experience, treating patients like family. His professional affiliations include the American Dental Association, the Academy of General Dentistry, the New Jersey Dental Association, and the American Dental Education Association.

Outside the office, you can find Dr. Basim visiting amusement parks, hiking, playing sports, or planning his next getaway! Dr. Basim has visited 10 National Parks and plans to see all 61.

Dr. Angela Gatto-Rekant, originally from the NYC area, graduated from NYU College of Dentistry and completed a residency at the Manhattan VA hospital. She excels in Crown, Bridge, and Dentures, working with medically compromised patients. 

Joining The Smile Center of Mount Holly in 2004, Dr. Gatto-Rekant provides comprehensive dental work and specializes in high-strength ceramic crowns. 

Her extensive experience in Fixed Bridges, Implants, and Dentures complements her love for travel, skiing, golf, and scuba diving.

Dr. Charles Hudak, D.M.D., a Temple University School of Dentistry graduate, has been practicing for over 20 years. He is well known for his genuine compassion for patients and his 'no pain' approach. 

His impressive career has been marked by numerous accolades, including the First Place Clinical Achievement Award, The Leon S. Brenner Award for Proficiency in Operative Dentistry, The Dr. Benjamin D. Homer Award, and inductions into various honor societies for Oral Surgery, Periodontology, and Esthetic Dentistry. He also holds a post-doctoral degree in Advanced Education in General Dentistry. 

Beyond his professional achievements, Dr. Hudak is an active family man and sports enthusiast.

Dr. Naina Iyengar, a Central NJ native, combines her biomedical engineering background from TCNJ with dental expertise from NYU. 

At The Smile Center, she enjoys treating patients of all ages, focusing on crowns, implant prostheses, cosmetic restorations, TMJ relief, and comprehensive treatment planning. 

A member of the American Dental Association and New Jersey Dental Association, Dr. Iyengar is committed to high-quality care and continuous education. Her personal interests include family, travel, and community volunteering.

Dr. Nasim Lasemi received her Bachelor of Science degree in Molecular and Cellular Biology and her Doctor of Dental Medicine degree from the University of Illinois. She then continued her education and received her Master of Science degree in Periodontics from the University of Oklahoma.

Dr. Lasemi strives to provide her patients with comprehensive periodontal care and lifelong supportive maintenance. She performs various periodontal treatments, such as dental implants, extraction, bone graft, gingival graft, sinus lift, crown lengthening, frenectomy, osseous surgery, and scaling and root planning.

She is a member of the American Academy of Periodontology and the NJ Society of Periodontology. She is actively involved in volunteering activities, such as providing dental care during the OU Veteran’s Day and Give Kids a Smile Day. Outside of the office, she enjoys hiking and biking with her husband.

Dr. Maimone is a highly qualified dental professional, having received his degree from the Rutgers School of Dental Medicine. He strives to create a comfortable atmosphere for each patient, ensuring their satisfaction and overall well-being.

Dr. Maimone began in the dental field at an early age, shadowing at a local clinic at just 15 years old. As an undergraduate student at Gettysburg College, Dr. Maimone continued to hone his expertise in this field through various experiences that came along with it.

Outside of his professional commitments, Dr. Maimone is an active member of the American Dental Association, Academy of General Dentistry, New Jersey Dental Association, and Southern Dental Society of New Jersey. In his spare time, he enjoys refurbishing antique furniture pieces, cooking flavorful family recipes, and enjoying nature's splendor while connecting with friends and relatives.

Originally from Boston, Massachusetts, Dr. Nicole earned her Bachelor's in Biology at the University of Massachusetts-Dartmouth. She later obtained her Doctor of Dental Medicine degree at the University of New England. During this time, Dr. Nicole coordinated multiple oral health outreach programs and led one of the largest donation drives in the Greater Portland region. She then completed an externship at a private practice and a nonprofit clinic in the Champlain Valley of Vermont, improving access to care.

Before obtaining her doctorate, Dr. Nicole worked as a dental assistant and office manager. She learned different aspects of dentistry, which helped her gain a solid foundation, giving her an edge in dental school and additional perspective into patient care. 

Dr. Nicole is Invisalign certified and continues to update her expertise through advanced courses, ensuring personalized and comprehensive care options for each patient. Her professional affiliations include the American Dental Association, the New Jersey Dental Association, and the Academy of General Dentistry.

Besides dentistry, Dr. Nicole's biggest passion is traveling. She has visited every state on the East and West Coast and plans to visit every National Park and State in the USA. She has already visited 11 parks and 26 states!
