Dr. Nasim Lasemi received her Bachelor of Science degree in Molecular and Cellular Biology from University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign and her Doctor of Dental Medicine degree from the University of Illinois at Chicago. She then continued her education and received her Master of Science degree in Periodontics from the University of Oklahoma.
Dr. Lasemi strives to provide comprehensive periodontal care and lifelong supportive maintenance for her patients. She performs various periodontal treatments, such as dental implant, extraction, bone graft, gingival graft, sinus lift, crown lengthening, frenectomy, osseous surgery, and scaling and root planning.
Her research interests lie in the field of implant dentistry. Her thesis was awarded with a competitive research grant. This clinical trial was on the Osseodensification technique for bone expansion and densification at the time of implant placement.
She is a member of the American Academy of Periodontology and NJ Society of Periodontology. During her general dentistry training, she held leadership positions at the American Association of Women Dentists and American Student Dental Association, where she served as the vice-president. She has been actively involved in volunteering activities, such as providing dental care during the OU Veteran’s Day and Give Kids a Smile Day. Outside of the office, she enjoys hiking and biking with her husband.
